A DRINK-driver was almost three times the limit when he was caught out on the A49.
Nicholas Cooper entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in July.
The court heard from prosecutor Aleigha Adams that Cooper, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Vaughn Whistance, had been caught out on the A49 at Leominster after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Corsa while over the drink-driving limit on June 16.

An evidential breath test revealed that the 41-year-old had 95 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Cooper, of Brimfield, Ludlow, was disqualified from driving for 24 months and fined £576.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £230 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
