A YELLOW weather warning for wind has been issued for Herefordshire for Saturday (July 15).

The unseasonably windy day could lead to delays on the road, with short term loss of power and other services also possible.

There could also be damage to trees or temporary structures such as marquees, tents and inflatables.

The Met Office warning comes into force at 9am and stretches across the whole of the south west, south and south east of England and into south and mid Wales.

It also covers east Anglia and parts of Lincolnshire.

As predicted, heavy rain is currently falling in Herefordshire today (Friday, July 14) which is set to last until early evening.
