A BUILDING was destroyed by fire in the Golden Valley at the weekend.
Crews from Ewyas Harold and Hereford were called to Abbey Dore shortly before 5.50pm on Saturday (July 8) where a timber-framed building, measuring 15m by 10m, was well alight.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “The building was destroyed by fire with two hose reel jets, drag forks and a thermal imaging camera used to tackle the incident.
“Crews shuttled water from a nearby hydrant to fight the fire and there were no casualties.
“The final crew left the scene at 7.16pm.”
