TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a death in Hereford.

Police were called to the Commercial Road area of Hereford at 2.10am yesterday, June 8.

Officers were informed a man was in cardiac arrest, a police spokesperson confirmed.

A man, later confirmed to be 63 years old, was taken to hospital by paramedics, but was confirmed dead on Thursday morning.

A cordon was in place in Hereford's Commercial Road for much of the day while initial investigations took place, with the busy main road not reopening until 2.40pm on June 8.

Police confirmed at 7am yesterday that a 31-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A second man, aged 32, was also arrested on suspicion of murder, police later confirmed.

Both were in police custody as of 3.50pm yesterday.

An investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, which is currently being treated as suspicious.
