A DRINK-driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught out on a main road while over the limit.
Stephen Gill entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester in June.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 41-year-old had been caught out at Little Hastings Crossroads on the A465 near Preston Wynne in Herefordshire after getting behind the wheel of a Toyota Corolla while over the drink-drive limit on November 10.

An evidential blood test revealed that Gill had 91 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
Gill, of Ranelagh Street, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £455 for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when deciding on the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £182 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
