THERE will be activities aplenty to keep the kids occupied at Herefordshire's National Trust properties this summer.

Berrington Hall

June 24: Visitors can immerse themselves in live jazz music performed by the talented James Hunt in the garden

July 9: The Hereford and Leominster Kite Festival returns, with guests invited to bring their own kite and join countless others as the skies above Berrington come alive with a display of kites in all shapes and sizes.

July 26 onwards: Embark on a summer filled with fun at Berrington Hall. Children can join an adventure as they explore the gardens, engaging in a variety of games and activities along the summer trail. There's more to discover outdoors, including a natural play area and the opportunity to build dens in the parkland.

August 9 and 30: Families can also get involved in an exciting pond dipping activity, perfect for those seeking a splash of excitement.

Follow the trail through the grounds, engaging in interactive games and activities related to apples. Visitors can also enjoy the 'An Apple Gathering' exhibition that continues to tell the story of apples through art in different parts of Croft.

The Weir Garden

July 26 onwards: Experience the tranquillity and natural beauty of The Weir Garden this summer. Your little ones will be able to explore the grounds while having fun with some activities from our summer holiday trail. They will discover the wonders of the local wildlife and learn about the fascinating creatures that call this serene place home.

August 15: Unleash your creativity with the 'make a wild crown' activity. At The Weir Garden, every moment is an opportunity to connect with nature. Immerse yourself in the peaceful ambience, explore the greenery, and create memories with your loved ones.
