A REPEAT offender has been banned from the roads after he was caught speeding on a busy main road in Herefordshire.
Philip John Corbett appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster for sentencing after entering a guilty plea to one charge of exceeding a 50 miles per hour speed limit at an earlier hearing.

The court heard that the 64-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a Vauxhall in a 50 miles per hour limit on the A40 at Pencraig in Herefordshire on August 28.
Corbett, of Paddock Drive, Drighlington, Bradford, was fined £266, received three penalty points, and was disqualified from driving for six months, with magistrates saying a disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £106 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
