A STALKER who caused a woman actual bodily harm will be sentenced later this month.
Adrian Whiles entered guilty pleas to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, one of stalking without fear, alarm, or distress, and one of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 54-year-old had assaulted a woman, causing her actual bodily harm, in Ledbury on November 6.

He had also pursued a course or conduct which he knew or ought to have known amounted to the stalking of the same woman between January 1 and 22, texting her 14 times, trying to call her, and approaching her.
He had also repeatedly or continuously engaged in controlling and coercive behaviour between March 1 and November 9 last year, using physical force to try to get a woman to change into clothes he preferred, monitoring her phone, and damaging her property because she was talking to her friends, which he did not like.
The case was sent to the crown court for sentencing and Whiles, of Little Marcle Road, Ledbury, was released on conditional bail.
He will appear before Worcester Crown Court for sentencing on May 26.
