IN 2014 the Somerset levels were devastated by flooding, mostly due to the Environment Agency’s complete lack of dredging which has been ongoing for many years.
The modern EA will hardly do any maintenance, but take a fortune from the public and waste far too much.

In my opinion it is the management of the EA which belongs behind bars.
