ST Michael's Hospice has opened its latest store in Ross-on-Wye, which is packed with plenty of pre-loved treasures.

Shoppers hoping to grab a bargain queued outside the Cantilupe Road branch, which is opposite Morrisons. It is the Herefordshire charity's third shop in the town and sells a range of new and used goods, including furniture, clothing, linen, books, toys and bric-a-brac.

The latest shop is in addition to the Home and Living Store on the Alton Road Industrial Estate, and its town centre outlet on Gloucester Road.

OTHER NEWS:

Ross Mayor, Councillor Ed O’Driscoll, was among those to officially open the store, which will initially open six days a week, with plans in place for Sunday opening in due course.

“We’ve been blown away by the support of the community,” said Rachel Jones, the Hospice’s Income Generation, Marketing and Communications Director.

“It’s been wonderful to see so many people queuing to enter our new shop, and to hear the till ringing from the moment those doors opened.

“If you weren’t able to join us for the opening, there’s still plenty of opportunity to visit us. We’re open Monday to Saturday from 9am-5pm, with plans in place for Sunday opening in due course.”

Anyone who wishes to volunteer at the shop can pop along to the branch or email bpardoe@smhospicehereford.org
