DURING 2019 I was twice called to attend A&E Hereford as my husband has been taken in on a blue light.
I am disabled and could not find suitable parking near A&E, so I parked my car in front of the department, as time was of the essence.
On the second occasion, I received a parking ticket.
After contacting my MP, the parking company agreed to install disabled bays at A&E.

You may imagine my shock to find that, when needing to attend A&E last week myself, I found that portable cabins have been placed directly over the bays.
This a total disregard for the disabled, a blatant discrimination against patients such as myself. I am informed that these cabins have been in situ since 2019, so were covering the disabled bays probably since their installation.
Whoever decided to do this should be ashamed.
