A CLASSIC car was involved in a crash in the Golden Valley.

Emergency services were called to the B4347, near the Bridge Inn at Kentchurch, at around 3.25pm yesterday (Monday).

The crash involved two vehicles, one of which is believed to be an Italian Lancia Beta Spider.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance attended the scene.

"Upon arrival crews found two men who were the drivers of each vehicle.

"They were assessed and were uninjured. They received self care advice from ambulance staff before being discharged at the scene.”

Meanwhile, Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "All persons were safely out of the vehicles upon our arrival, with one male being checked over by paramedics.

"A shame to see such a beautiful car in this condition but thankfully no serious injuries sustained.

"The crew isolated both batteries and managed traffic, whilst clearing debris from the road."
