The court heard from the prosecutor that the 30-year-old had been caught out on Hereford's Aylestone Hill after getting behind the wheel of a Land Rover Freelander without a valid third party insurance policy in place on November 26.
Williams, of Merestone Road, Hereford, was fined £660, received six penalty points, and was disqualified from driving for six months, for the offence, with magistrates saying a driving ban was obligatory due to repeat offending.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £352 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
