POP star Peter Andre visited West Midland Safari Park at the weekend and performed a duet with a sea lion.

The singer broke out into a rendition of his chart-topping hit Mysterious Girl and was joined by the talented marine mammal, named Bounty.

The impromptu performance was captured on video and posted to his social media accounts.

Joking with his followers, Peter said: “I’ve got a very special guest, you might know his music, absolutely incredible… the legendary Seal ladies and gentlemen…”

The video comes as the pop star and his family visited the north Worcestershire attraction – which is popular with visitors from Herefordshire – to celebrate the singer's 50th birthday... at the same time as the park also marked its 50th anniversary.

The family enjoyed a stay in the park’s exclusive safari lodges, which have welcomed the likes of Jac Jossa and Louise Thompson in recent months.

A spokesperson for West Midland Safari Park said: "Peter was visiting us with his wife Emily and two younger children, to celebrate his 50th birthday, which coincides with the Park's 50th anniversary.

"As part of the stay, the family were treated to a VIP tour, which included meeting our resident California sea lions and when Peter found out that 13-year-old Bounty could 'sing', he couldn't resist a duet of his most popular hit.

"I think it made his day and it certainly made ours."
