HEREFORD Leisure Centre on the Holmer Road will host the fifth Community Games.
The day is open to anyone over 16 years old who has a learning disability and is organized by a group of service providers from across the County.
More than 100 participants are expected to attend the Community Games on Friday.
This Community Games is the first following the cancellation of the planned 2020 games due to the pandemic and has been organized by a cross-group of agencies including ECHO, Aspire Living, Mencap, Herefordshire & Worcestershire NHS Trust, Together We Can and Affinity Trust. The event is funded by Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire
There will be more than 20 different activities on the day including tennis, athletics, football, cricket racket ball and curling.

“We are delighted to be involved with the Community Games,” said Mike Cook, chief officer of ECHO.
“The day provides a fantastic opportunity for anyone to get a taster of a variety of activities, to see what they enjoy and may want to take part in regularly.
“We know that taking part in sport and physical activity is a great way to socialise, improve mental and physical wellbeing, as well as helping people to develop new skills and feel part of their local community.”
