A SPEEDER caught out on a busy Herefordshire main road has avoided a roads ban due to the emotional effect of a disqualification on another person.
Cai Wyn Williams was proven guilty of one count of exceeding a 50 miles per hour limit by magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 47-year-old had been caught breaking the limit behind the wheel of a Volkswagen in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Pencraig in Herefordshire on June 14.

He had been clocked on manually operated camera equipment, the court heard.
Williams, of Thurston Road in Pontypridd, Mid Glamorgan, was fined £146 and received three penalty points.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
No totting disqualification was made as, magistrates said, a roads ban would have an emotional effect on a family member, with Williams needing to drive to have contact with them.
