A TEENAGER is facing a longer wait to be sentenced for possession of animal porn and pornographic images of children. 

William Ryan had previously entered guilty pleas to six charges appearing at Worcester Crown Court expecting to be sentenced on Wednesday, (March 1). 

Ryan was in possession of three extreme pornographic images, portraying an act involving a person and dogs, which were grossly offensive, disgusting, or otherwise of an obscene nature in Ledbury.

He made 691 category A, 698 category B, and 1,946 category C indecent still and moving images of a child.

He had been in possession of two prohibited images of a child in Ledbury.

And the 19-year-old had also distributed category A indecent moving images of children in Ledbury.

Hereford Times:

During the hearing, the dates of the offences, which were wrong on the court records sent from magistrates court, were corrected by Judge Nicholas Cartwright. 

All the offences took place between January 1, 2020, and August 12, 2021.

Mark Thompson, defending Ryan, asked for an adjournment for a pre-sentence report which was granted by the judge.

Mr Thompson also indicated he may request a psychiatric report. 

At the end of the hearing, the judge told Ryan to return to Worcester Crown Court on April 14. 

He was granted conditional bail. 

Ryan, who is of Monkhide, Herefordshire, was previously ordered to register with police until the case was dealt with.
