A MAN who sent unwanted messages and turned up at a woman's house over a two-month period has been banned from contacting her for four years.
Tahir Hussain appeared before magistrates in Hereford in January for sentencing after entering a guilty plea to one count of harassment without violence at an earlier hearing in December.

The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 38-year-old had pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman and which he knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her in Ross-on-Wye between February 15 and April 16.
He had sent her unwanted text messages, voicemail messages, and social media messages and attended her address between those dates, the court was told.
Hussain, who is of Cambridge Road in Smethwick, was handed a 15-month community order, a four-year restraining order banning him from contacting the victim and another woman directly or indirectly, and a £250 fine, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
