A BANNED Hereford driver has been fined after he was caught out on the roads after he was disqualified.

Marian Radulescu entered guilty pleas to one count of driving while disqualified and one count of using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance when he appeared before magistrates in Leeds.

The court heard from the prosecutor that the 30-year-old had been caught in Lupton Avenue in Leeds, Yorkshire, after getting behind the wheel of a car on July 6.

Hereford Times:

He was found to be driving while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence and without a valid insurance policy in place.

Radulescu, who is of Canal Road in Hereford, was fined £281 and received six penalty points for the offences, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty pleas into account when imposing the penalty.

He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £34 victim surcharge.
