A DRUG-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught out on a busy Herefordshire main road.
Adrian Cox entered a guilty plea to one count of driving a motor vehicle while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in December.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 47-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a silver Vauxhall while over the drug-driving limit on the A438 at Bartestree in Herefordshire on September 6.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had 2.5 microgrammes of class B controlled drug cannabis product delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two microgrammes.
Cox, who is of Welford Green, Hereford, was fined £120 for the offence and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account.
He was also ordered to pay a £48 victim surcharge, but no prosecution costs were imposed due to his lack of means.
