FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a blaze in a car on a busy Herefordshire main road and a tumble drier fire in a county town.
Crews from Whitchurch fire station and Ross-on-Wye fire station were called to reports of a car on fire on the A40 near Ross in Herefordshire yesterday morning (December 22).
A spokesperson for Whitchurch fire station said some cutting away showed fire damage and charring to the insulation and electrics inside the dashboard.
"Quick work of crews and the driver stopped this from becoming a significant fire," the spokesperson said.
