A WOMAN has been banned from the roads after she was caught behind the wheel while over the limit.

Saijedia Begum admitted one count of drink-driving when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

Police were sent to Wrigglebrook Lane in Kingsthorne, Herefordshire, at 4.30pm on October 16, after information was received, prosecutor Mark Hambling said.

Begum, who was behind the wheel of a black Jeep Cherokee, was stopped and arrested after failing a roadside breath test.

She was taken into custody at Hereford police station, where an evidential breath test revealed she had 46 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
