A MAN caught with drugs in Hereford has been ordered to carry out unpaid work by a court.

Karl Brown entered a guilty plea to one charge of possessing a controlled class B drug when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford in October.

OTHER NEWS:

The court heard the 38-year-old had been caught in possession of a quantity of class B controlled drug cannabis in Hereford on October 7.

Brown, who is of Brampton Road in Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order and must complete 60 hours of unpaid work, with magistrates at Hereford's Justice Centre in Bath Street saying they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
