A DRUG-supply accused Herefordshire man has been sent to the crown court.

Nicholas Jenkins appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster accused of four counts of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and one of acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property in October.

The court heard from prosecutor Val Hart that the 42-year-old is accused of having been in possession of a quantity of controlled class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply them to others in Ross-on-Wye on October 20.

He is also accused of having been in possession of a quantity of heroin and a quantity of crack cocaine with intent to supply them to others in Ross on March 3.

He is further accused of acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property, namely £2,155, in Ross on October 20.

The case was sent to the crown court and Jenkins, who is of Old Market Close, Ross, was released on conditional bail.

He will appear before Worcester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 22.
