A HEREFORDSHIRE pub has new owners after nearly a year on the market.

The Tarrington Arms, in Tarrington, near Ledbury, was put on the market with commercial agents Sydney Phillips for £450,000 in November 2021.

Formerly the Foley Arms, the pub is set in an elegant grade II listed building just off the main road between Hereford and Ledbury.

It features two large bars, a separate function and meeting room, and five letting bedrooms.

It also has extensive gardens and two-bedroom owners flat as well as a separate three-bedroom flat.

A Facebook page was set up called Save the Tarrington Arms, in March 2021, after locals grouped together to raise money that would keep it going.

Community group Tarrington Voice shared a message from the new owners which said new owners who are happy to be taking it on.

Its new owners held a sale of the contents of the pub last Saturday.

Donations will go towards the restoration.

We have approached the new owners and asked about their plans for the pub.
