TWO HEREFORD attackers caused actual bodily harm in an assault on another person, a court has heard.

David Styles, 38, and Joshua Harrison, 30, were each convicted of one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 when they appeared before magistrates in Hereford in October.

The court heard the pair had assaulted another man, causing him actual bodily harm, in Hereford on October 2.

They had also, jointly and without lawful excuse, damaged the wing mirror and bodywork of a Volkswagen Passat belonging to another person, intending to destroy or damage it or being reckless as to whether it would be destroyed or damaged, on October 2.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Styles, who is of Coningsby Street, Hereford, and Harrison, of Emperor Way, Holmer, were remanded on conditional bail.

They will appear before magistrates at Hereford's Justice Centre in Bath Street for sentencing on November 8.
