A HEREFORDSHIRE man has been sentenced after sending threatening messages to women.
Andrew Morgan appeared before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing after admitting two counts of sending a letter, communication, or article conveying a threatening message at an earlier hearing.
Prosecutor Mark Hambling told the court that the 48-year-old had made an electronic communication, namely a phone call which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety, to a woman in Kington on May 12.

He has also sent an electronic communication, namely an oral communication which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to another woman on May 4, the magistrates were told.
Morgan, who is of The Cleveland, Dilwyn, was handed a two-year community order and a five-year restraining order. He was also fined £100 and was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £100 and a £95 victim surcharge.
