After last night's (Wednesday 28) explosive commitment ceremony, the couples were getting ready to show their partners around their homes.

Roberts, who is a financial advisor from Worcester, could be bringing his wife to the city as part of the challenge.

In a preview for tonight's episode, April and her mother-in-law were seen to be having a heated chat which left viewers on the edge of their seats to find out what happened next.

Since the couple got married they have not had an easy ride.

Roberts was left heartbroken after he found out his wife had kissed another woman while the couple were on their honeymoon in Jamaica.

Although the couple was able to work through their issues as they both chose to 'stay' with each other at the end of the commitment ceremonies.

However, recently Channel 4 had to defend Roberts after a national newspaper made serious allegations about his character.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: “We work incredibly closely with our production partners to ensure all Married at First Sight UK contributors are subject to rigorous background and psychological checks, including the most detailed police checks a production is able to undertake."

Married at First Sight is a self-proclaimed social experiment where single people, matched by experts, marry total strangers who they meet for the very first time on their wedding day.
