A HEREFORD supermarket has celebrated its new look with prizes for customers and a special visit by Percy Pig.

Marks & Spencer in Hereford opened its doors for its relaunch yesterday to customers, with Helen Pikes cutting the ribbon alongside Percy Pig himself.

There were 200 golden tickets up for grabs for the first customers through the doors, with one lucky customer taking home £200 in food vouchers.

The supermarket chain said the better, fresher store is home to a large M&S foodhall with a new fresh-market feel.

"Highlights include fresh displays brimming with great quality, trusted value produce from M&S select farms, a show-stopping new bakery offering freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries throughout the day, and a dedicated M&S wine shop featuring an award-winning selection including iconic styles in the M&S Classics range and new varieties to discover from unexpected locations in the “Found” range," a spokesperson said.

The clothing and home department has also had a revamp, the spokesperson said, while a new digital click and collect service will make it easier than ever to shop in store with M&S.

Customers will be able to order the full range of M&S clothing and home products and pick up in store via the brand-new digital click and collect service and can opt for free next day collection when they order online at M&S.com by 8pm.
