A MAN has been sent to the crown court accused of multiple historic sex offences against a young boy.
Keith Figes appeared before magistrates in Worcester accused of eight offences against the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
The court heard the 72-year-old is accused of indecently assaulting a boy aged under 14 on two occasions in Symonds Yat, Herefordshire, on two occasions at Tewkesbury swimming pool in Gloucestershire, and on one occasion at British Camp between January 1, 1973, and June 1, 1973.
He is also accused of two acts of gross indecency towards a boy who was under the age of 16 in Worcestershire between the same dates.

He is further accused of one count of attempted buggery with a boy under the age of 16 between the same dates.
The case was sent to the crown court and Figes, who is of Breach Close in Bourton, Dorset, will appear before Worcester Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on October 16.
