For all those looking to get out and about in Herefordshire today, here is a list of road closures and roadworks that could affect your journey.

 

  • Emergency road closure in place on Grandstand Road in Hereford at the Hereford City Sports Club for sewer repair works by Welsh Water. Expected to be in force until September 26.

 

  • Brampton Road in Newton Farm, Hereford is closed for 2 days for mains repair by Welsh Water.

 

  • Traffic signals due to roadworks on Roman Road in Hereford, near to the junction with Tillington Road. In place until November 18.

 

  • Overnight road closures on the A4103 at Fromes Hill at the junction with the B4214 until September 30. Diversion in place via Bransford, Knightwick and Bromyard.

 

  • Traffic control in place on Overbury Road in Hereford due to broadband installation works. In place until September 27.

 

  • The C1075 in Eardisley is shut at the junction with the A4111 due to broadband work by Gigaclear. 

 

  • Traffic control on the B4230 Kington Road near Weobley due to works by Welsh Water. In place until November 4.

 

  • Multi-way traffic signals on the A40 in Lea from the junction with the B4224 to Ryeford Farm. In place until October 11.

 

  • The C1148 in Yarkhill is closed from September 12 up to and including September 30, 24 hours a day, for bridge repair works between the A438 and A4103. Diversion in place through Whitestone, Bartestree and Dormington.
