A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught behind the wheel in a Hereford street.

Kyle Jones entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.

The court heard the 30-year-old had been caught driving a grey Seat Ibiza while over the drink-drive limit in St Nicholas Street, Hereford, on August 21.

An evidential breath test revealed he had 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Jones, of Barons Cross Road, Leominster, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £48 victim surcharge.
