LEOMINSTER MP Bill Wiggin nipped out between debates in the House of Commons to take an allergy test.
One in three people in Herefordshire could be affected by an allergy at some point in their lives and Mr Wiggin believes allergies can have a devastating effect on people.
The testing station in the Commons was set up by an allergy diagnosis firm Phadia and Mr Wiggin was tested for allergies from grass, dust and household pets, which can cause a range of symptoms including hayfever, asthma and eczema.
Mr Wiggin wanted the NHS to provide better diagnostic services to ensure clinicians were treating the specific cause and not just the general symptoms of allergy.
