THE old hutted wards at Hereford County Hospital are to be replaced with a new block.
Linked directly to the hospital, the new wing will cost up to £6 million and provide up to 75 beds by next spring.
To make room, Monnow and Leadon wards will be knocked down, together with part of the corridor in the hospital that leads to the hutted wards.
