A SECTION of the A49 was closed in the early hours of this morning following a collision.
Police were called to a collision involving one car near Wellington at 2.20am.
The car is thought to have been in collision with a gas pumping station
The A49 was closed between the A4103 and the A417 due to debris on road, but has since been re-opened with temporary traffic lights in place.
Police said there were two males in the vehicle and that one had suffered a head injury.
