A WRITER and director has returned to his Herefordshire roots to shoot scenes for his new film that deals with the consequences of military conflict.
James Price returned to Leinthall Starkes to film scenes set in the Balkans as part of his new production dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Scenes for the film were shoot in Tokyo, London and Herefordshire to follow the effects of PSTD on a Balkans war veteran.
The Herefordshire countryside substitutes for a rural area in the Balkans where a small unit investigates the disappearance of some members of their squadron.
Mr Price shot the scenes at Villa Farm, which is farmed by his uncle Richard Price.
There will be a screening of the film in Herefordshire in September but the venue has yet to be decided.
