HEREFORD assistant manager Steve Burr has left the club and taken the manager position at Hednesford Town.
Burr has been assistant to Josh Gowling at Edgar Street since January 2020 with the pairing leading Hereford to the FA Trophy final at Wembley in the 2020/21 season.
Gowling and Burr signed a two-year contract keeping them at the club this season, but after an approach from Hednesford Town he has now left.

Hereford FC chairman, Jon Hale told the club’s website: “Steve returns to management with our full support.
“We are sad to see him leave but fully understand the reasons for him wanting to speak with, then accept, Hednesford’s offer.
“His experience, integrity and professionalism has served Hereford FC so well and I know Josh is grateful to Steve for the time he has been here as assistant.
“In the short time I’ve known Steve, we’ve enjoyed an excellent relationship and I’m sure that’ll continue if our paths cross again in opposition.”
