A main road in Herefordshire will close for more than a week
A MAIN road in Herefordshire is set to close for eight days for resurfacing work.
Herefordshire Council said the A4111 in Eardisley, which runs between Kington and the A438 Hereford to Brecon Road at Willersley, will shut from October 3.
The council said the closure would be between Spond Lane to Church Road, outside Lemore Manor.
The road will need to be shut due to resurfacing and anti-skid works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place, it said.
The diversion for those affected will be via the A480 through Lyonshall.
