A HEREFORDSHIRE pub once named the county pub of the year by the Campaign for Real Ale is up for sale.
The Prince of Wales, in Ledbury's pretty cobbled Church Lane, is on the market with agents Sidney Phillips for £475,000.
Dating back to the 15th Century, the renowned real ale pub is full of character, with local legend claiming that some of its beams came from wrecked Spanish Armada ships.
The popular pub and live music venue was named Herefordshire CAMRA pub of the year in 2013.
It features three interconnecting beamed bars, a trade garden, and three-bed owners' accommodation.
Sidney Phillips said the pub has a reported annual turnover of £370,000 net of VAT with 70 per cent of sale wet and 30 per cent dry.
