You can catch the latest blockbuster for just £3 after Hereford's Odeon cinema announced a major ticket reduction for one day only.

The Odeon in the Old Market shopping centre is among some of the big chains celebrating National Cinema Day on Saturday, September 3, with discounts galore.

Customers will be able to enjoy "all films, all screenings, all from £3" in the Odeon on that day only.

Whether you want to take the kids on a weekend treat or you're looking to indulge in a little self-care yourself, here's everything you need to know.

Here is Odeon announcing the £3 deal:

From Idris Elba's big cat thriller Beast to an edge-of-your-seat adventure like Top Gun: Maverick, there are plenty of cinema releases featured in the deal – subject to availability.

National Cinema Day is a day dedicated to celebrating our love for movies... and major savings!

At the Odeon, tickets will cost you £3 whether it is for a standard showing or any of Odeon's premium formats such as IMAX, Dolby and iSense.

If you decide to secure your seat online, you should know that there is a 95p booking fee but even with that, it is still a bargain deal!

A spokesperson for National Cinema Day said: "On Saturday, September 3, hundreds of cinemas across the UK are coming together to celebrate National Cinema Day, inviting everyone to enjoy the incomparable sights and sounds of the big screen experience.

"Participating cinemas are offering all tickets to all shows from just £3, providing an additional incentive for you, your friends and family to come along, sit back and enjoy a movie where it belongs, on the big screen."
