A POPULAR BBC One TV show has been spotted filming at a country pub in Herefordshire.

Presenter Nikki Chapman was pictured at the Three Horseshoes Inn, in Little Cowarne near Bromyard, with a pair of house hunters looking to buy in the area.

Sharing pictures on Facebook, landlady Janet Abell, who took over the pub with husband Richard and son Jamie in 2020, said it was an exciting day when the crew turned up on Thursday (July 7).

She said all the team was friendly, letting her and pub staff take pictures and chat and joked that she remember Nikki Chapman from her days as a judge on TV music competition Pop Idol.

She said that while she didn't know the names of the couple, she wished them well with their house hunting and possible move to Herefordshire.

The popular daytime show sees presenters, which include Nikki Chapman and Herefordshire's Jules Hudson, help house buyers who want to swap city living for a home in the country.

They are shown three homes, including one "mystery house" which is something different to what they had been looking for.
