A WEATHER warning has been issued for Herefordshire today.
The Met Office yellow warning for thunderstorms is set to come into force from midday today (June 30) and will remain in place until 10pm.
The Met Office said heavy showers will develop through the morning with isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.
There is the potential for lightning, hail and heavy rain, forecasters said, with a few places seeing 10-20 mm of rain within an hour and a small chance of 40 mm in two to three hours.
Rain showers are likely to weaken over parts of Wales and southwest England throughout this evening but will persist for longer in central England and the Midlands, the Met Office said.
