AN UNLICENSED and uninsured driver has been fined hundreds of pounds after he was caught behind the wheel on a major route in Herefordshire.
James Shields was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 36-year-old had been caught driving an Audi Q7 without a licence or insurance on the M50 at Ledbury in Herefordshire on November 17.
Shields, of Tawny Place, Cannock, was fined a total of £880 and received six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and an £88 victim surcharge.
