He appeared before Hereford magistrates court
AN ACCUSED man has denied attempting to ask a child to send him explicit pictures.
Shane Watkins entered a not guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 26-year-old is accused of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child under the age of 16 for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification in Herefordshire between June 4 and 10, 2020, encouraging her to send explicit images.
Watkins, of Eye Lane, Luston, was sent for trial and will next appear before Hereford magistrates on August 18.
