WE need more retail in Hereford.
We have hundreds of houses being built, so why can’t retailers like John Lewis see the potential in this city.
We don’t have anywhere to buy household goods, lamps, bedding etc and we desperately need more clothes shops for ladies of a certain age!

This building (Debenhams at Old Market Shopping Centre) is the flagship of our city.
We need to fly the flag and make it the place to go, where we can go to buy everything we need. If you get it right people will want to shop in our city, bringing more money in to make it what it used to be.
It is good to see more independent shops coming into Hereford but we need a big department store again. John Lewis would be amazing.
