There is a fuel spillage on Capler Lane, in Fownhope
A FUEL spillage has led to an emergency road closure in Herefordshire.
Hereford Highways, the council's roads team, is at the scene in Capler Lane, in Fownhope near Hereford.
A spokesperson said a team is currently treating the road but has told drivers to follow the signage.
The spillage is significant and over the carriageway at the junction of the B4224 to Tump Farm, said the spokesperson.
This has led to the team to close the road temporarily.
The road is now open as of 10.05am (June 1).
