Here is an update for everyone getting out and about in Herefordshire, of road closures that could affect your journey.

  • Widemarsh Street in Hereford is closed southbound to traffic from the Garrick Multi-story car park to Blackfriars Street for 12 days from today. Significant delays expected during busy periods. Diversion will run via Blackfriars Street, Edgar Street and Blueschool Street.
  • Pentre Jack Road in Eardisley, near Leominster, closed from today for 12 days from Old Pentre Jack to The Laurels.
  • Two-way signals continue on Wilton Road in Ross-on-Wye, delays expected. In place until midnight on Saturday, June 1.
  • Road closure on B4348 from Newton Middlewood To Cross Lodge, Dorstone, until Friday, between 9am and 3.30pm.
  • Hopleys Green Road near Almeley is closed for the next two weeks. Resident only access. Diversion signs are in place.
  • Emergency two-way lights in place on the A4110 from the A44 junction to the Arrow Bridge near Monkland due to deterioration of the carriageway. In place until midnight on Saturday, June 1.
  • Roadworks continue on College Road in Hereford due to bridge repairs. between the Roman Road junction and Old School Lane. Delays likely.
  • Lane closure in force on the A40 between Glewstone and Ross-on-Wye due to central reservation improvement works. In force until June 17.
  • Hard shoulder and inside lane closures with 50mph speed limit between Junction 4 of the M50 at Ross-on-Wye and Junction 3 for Newent. Overnight closures also in force. Expected until May 19.
