A THIEF has been up before the court after stealing a backpack from a Hereford shop.
Raimonds Debenko entered a guilty plea when he appeared before a district judge in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 32-year-old had stolen a blue Inca 65-litre rucksack worth £74.99 from Mountain Warehouse in Hereford on March 17.

Debenko, who is of no fixed address, was detained in the courthouse until the court rose with his detention deemed served by time already spent in custody.
No costs order or victim surcharge was imposed.
