- ROLLING MATCH REPORT
- The Bulls started well and skipper Jared Hodgkiss saw his effort from outside the box saved by Chris Neal.
- However, it was Fylde who took a 10th minute lead when Stephen Dobbie found Douglas Taylor who beat Krystian Pearce for pace and slid the ball past Brandon Hall to open the scoring.
- Out of nowhere Hereford were level on 35 minutes when midway inside the Fylde half Tom Owen-Evans had a chance effort and fired his effort over the goalkeeper home.
- Fylde looked stunned by the equaliser and looked for an immediate equaliser with leading goal-scorer Chris Houghton seeing his angled effort fly just wide.
- Two minutes before the break Fylde should have regained their lead when Houghton ran through one-on-one but Hall narrowed the angle and the striker fired wide.
- Fylde continued to probe in the second half playing the ball from right to left before Ben Tollitt saw his effort fly across the face of goal and wide.
- A short corner routine created another chance with Liam Conlan shaking off his marker before blazing his effort well over.
- Haughton continued to pose a real threat and forced a full-length save from a diving Hall to tip his effort wide.
- Hereford thought they had hit a winner with six minutes remaining McLean put the ball home from a Bulls corner but saw his effort ruled out as the off-side flag was straight up.
- Hereford had battled so hard for a point but were to be denied in the sixth minute of injury time.
- The ball had looked out of play but Jorome Slew kept it in for Tom Walker who found the charging Sam Osborne for the late winner.
