A MOTHER has been terrified after her dog was attacked while she was carrying her baby in Hereford.

Police in Hereford are appealing for witnesses and information about the attack in a field near Trinity School, in Barricombe Drive, on Thursday, February 17.

A dog attacked the mother’s yellow Labrador at 9.30am, while she had her six-month-old baby in a harness at the time.

Her dog was off its lead was attacked by a black Labrador cross dog and suffered several puncture wounds which required treatment.

The woman and the child were not injured but were both scared, and the incident caused causing fear and distress police said.
